Leslie & Tanner were married last week on the beautiful island of Maui! We were lucky enough to accompany them for the journey and had a great time photographing their friends and family. About half came from South Dakota, and the other half from Iowa. The only Alaskan’s in attendance were the bride and groom, and photographer! We started off with a first look and all the family and wedding party photos, a few bride and groom photos, and then onto a beachside ceremony performed by an awesome local guy. They had live music, amazing food.. and look at those lights and dinner location! What a view.. This was our second time working with Cherise Shulman from ThePerfectWeddingMaui.com and we were very excited when we learned she would be organizing everything. She does a great job and makes everything really perfect – the name is fitting. The food was fantastic, everyone was so nice.. just overall a great evening. One of our little bonuses we like to offer brides and grooms who take us to Hawaii is a free post-wedding session. Leslie and Tanner met up with me a couple days later and we checked out some of my favorite secret spots that I had been to numerous times just to explore, but hadn’t taken wedding photos at. I’m super happy with how it all came out!
