Getting married at Lake Hood Airport?
Know someone with an airplane hangar? Get married at the airport! Definitely one of the coolest venues we’ve shot in, this wedding was on New Year’s Eve and was extremely cold! The bride and groom didn’t mind at all though and we still took a lot of great photos outside with airplanes.
Travel Tips for Lake Hood Airport:
Fly the Tudor Road approach towards Lake Hood and make right traffic for runway 13, which will accommodate most small piston-powered aircraft under 9000lbs gross. 2200X75ft. Gravel in good condition. Or land on the water runway and dock at transient parking.
