Have you ever heard of the Orca Island Cabins? Well, I hadn’t until Rachel called me to tell me all their wedding plans had changed due to Covid19. During the downsize of their numbers to honor state mandates, they decided to rent the entire island for their closest friends and family. Imagine my delight when they told me the news of their new location!
Orca Island hasn’t done many weddings in the past, and it’s definitely best for the smaller, micro-weddings. Nestled in Humpy Cove adjacent to Resurrection Bay, there are multiple Alaskan styled yurts for your loved ones. Furthermore, it’s complete with incredible views, an epic waterfall, and lots of wildlife!
Rachel & Clayton had around 15 people attend their island wedding. They had Moose’s Tooth Pizza for dinner, local peonies for their flowers, and a lot of handmade decorations. It was such a joy to be a part of their beautiful and intimate wedding!
Wishing them the absolute best in marriage & life! -Lena Lee
