Deidra & Robert came up from Georgia for an adventure wedding on the ice. We did a little helicopter shuttling to get everyone out there, and it ended up being a really cool little glacial pool on the Spencer Glacier. Alpine Air got us safely to and from, Dorothy from Castle Ministries married them, and Amber from Raven Hair and Makeup harnessed Deidra’s beauty. After the ceremony we flew around and found some really cool spots – including this ridiculous ice fall with pieces of ice as big as houses and school buses. That’s not a place to linger as the glacier is always in motion, so we got our photos and moved on to some other gorgeous vantage points nearby. Another great day in the Chugach Mountains!
