We do a lot of glacier weddings each year! It has become a specialty of ours, and we love sharing the glaciers of Alaska with our wedding couples. However, it’s not often we get asked to do a winter glacier elopement.
Aidee and Matthew flew to Alaska from Post Falls, Idaho shortly before the elopement day in the dead of winter. It’s such a magical time of year in Alaska, but many folks are afraid of the darkness and cold. Well, not Aidee and Matthew.
We were blessed with beautiful weather and scenery for their wedding day! We flew with Alpine Air Helicopters out of Girdwood, Alaska, and headed to the Spencer Glacier. On the ridgeline with the glacier in the background, this sweet couple tied the knot!
