Photographer: Ralph Kristopher

Photographer Ralph Kristopher began shooting in 1992 when his grandfather ( an army war photojournalist) gave him a camera and one piece of advice, “Don’t just take a picture.” Kristopher was first published at the age of 21 in Powder Magazine. Kristopher’s mountain and adventure skills allowed him the opportunity to work with top athletes in beautiful places. It is this mix of human subject and natural landscape that eventually drew Ralph to photographing weddings. After growing up in the midwest, Ralph headed west to Colorado where he studied photography at Western State College. The next move took Ralph and his girlfriend to Mongolia and China, where he was able to photograph weddings with a local studio and focus on portraiture and photojournalism. Kristopher’s creativity is as unique as his style, its organic, from the heart, while backed with over two decades of technical skill. Always willing to go the extra mile, Kristopher is a humble, personable, down to earth kind of guy. Often quiet and un-assuming with his camera, Kristopher delivers unique work without getting in the way or becoming a distraction to you or your guests.
