Photographer Josh Martinez brings a new and fresh look to the Alaska wedding scene. Originally from California, he describes his style as “Colorful, elegant, and edgy. A lot of shooters tend to look at other wedding photographers work for inspiration. I avoid that altogether and browse fashion, marketing, and advertising photography for my inspirations.” He is passionate about the details, focused on telling the story of your wedding day just as you’d like to remember it. He’s always on the lookout for the non-standard photo locations, creative lighting opportunities, and photo humor. Growing up in a family of eleven, he’s great with kids and can put a group at ease. Currently, he lives in downtown Anchorage with his wife and two young children. His personal interest include hiking, skiing, fishing and flying.
