On Thursday night I met Candice and Ken at Beach Lake for a sweet row-boat inspired engagement session. Somehow Candice came up with the idea to use a row-boat, and they were able to find a great deal on a beautiful hand-crafted row boat. Candice says it was the easiest purchase Ken had made in a long time – no arm twisting needing. I think he saw this as a future fishing vessel for the small lakes around the area. They were a lot of fun to work with and I really didn’t have to give them much guidance – as you can see, they nailed it all on their own! Oh, I’d also like to add that I fell in the Lake. Sort of. I was handing them something to put in the boat, and when I stepped on what I thought was a solid clump of grass, it was actually a piece of grass over 4 feet of water. My whole right leg was submerged into mucky stinky muddy lakeshore and I almost dropped my $5500 camera rig into the lake. Ugg! Thank goodness it’s insured.. Enjoy the pics!
