Today I was in Anchorage photographing Mark & Alicia’s wedding at the Alaska Native Heritage Center. Heather Thamm joined me for the shoot and started off with the ladies for some gorgeous getting ready photos. I was with the guys and had a blast creating some pretty sweet portraits of Mark and his groomsmen. We all met up in Downtown Anchorage for the Bride & Grooms first look, and then went on a fun photo walk for some really unique photos of whole Bridal party. Taking time to get these fun and interesting shots on your wedding day is so worth it! The ceremony and reception were DJ’d by Alaska Professional Entertainment (APE). Martin did a great job of bringing the venue to life with some fantastic uplighting. One of many memorable moments came during during the cake cutting, when Alicia surprised Mark with a super cool cake replica of his Ford Lighting truck! After the reception they made their getaway in the life size version, which gave us another sweet photo opportunity. Congratulations to Mark & Alicia! Such an honor be a part of their incredible day!
