On Thursday I had the pleasure of photographing Sarah & Kevin’s beautiful, small, and intimate (10 people!) wedding at Kincaid Park. We spent some time rolling around Kincaid and hitting the sweet spots, followed by a ceremony at Kincaid’s new overlook deck which turned out to be a great place for a ceremony. The cool breeze smelled of ocean and brought relief from the day’s overwhelming heat (65-70 degrees). It was gorgeous! They even had their dog, Huckleberry, in a ton of their photos! She also sat at their feet during the whole ceremony – it was pretty cute. After the ceremony we did some Anchorage Portrait-Walking and went for the urban look. After that a dinner on the 20th floor of the Hotel Captain Cook at the Crow’s Nest restaurant topped the day for them. As you can see in the images below, these guys had some personality and knew how to show it! Can’t wait for the post-wedding shoot we’ll be doing later this summer or fall!
