Solstice 2011! A Climb up Flattop Mountain

After my wedding on Tuesday evening, I hatched a last minute plan to climb Flattop and celebrate solstice with 250 of my closest friends. Josh Martinez and his wife also made a mad dash for Glen Alps and we headed up together. Fireworks, dogs, campfires, live music, beer, and sweaty hikers were everywhere! As some of you already know – I take a slight enjoyment in all things airplane, and when we were buzzed multiple times by multiple aircraft (all within the minimum 2000ft horizontal and 1000 vertical, right?) I couldn’t help but take photos! So there’s some of that here.. sorry if you don’t like airplanes (really, that would be sad..) On to the goods!
