On Friday Ralph and I teamed up in Moose Pass at the Inn at Tern Lake for one of the most interesting weddings I’ve ever done! A midnight ceremony! 11:59pm, to be exact, (for legal purposes they had to pick a date for the marriage license..). All sorts of worries went through my head when they first told me about this a year ago.. What if it was pouring rain and storming? It would actually be almost pitch black, no twilight to speak of… Cold.. no lighting.. oh boy! But they had a tent as a backup, lighting setup around the ceremony site, and the weather cooperated perfectly. It was beautiful and warm all day, and the evening was clear and crisp. We took care of all the bride and groom and wedding party photos while the sun was still up, then hung out for a bit and waited till midnight. Their ceremony was absolutely perfect, and exactly as they had planned. A 1:00-2:00am breakfast followed, and then there was still plenty of dancing and family photos to take care of. This was a super awesome event, and This big ‘ol blog post doesn’t really do the cool-factor justice, so if you’re a friend or family member reading this, just make sure to get the login and password from Liz and Andy to view the whole thing on their photo-site! There’s a ton more photos coming soon!
