On Saturday Ralph and I were at the newly constructed and very beautiful Creekside Lodge. Owned by the same family that has operated Sunset View Resort on Big Lake, they spared no expense making this place a great location to have a wedding! I was excited to see the place and I’m looking forward to going back in the future. Marilyn and David have a great story – They were “married” about 15 years ago, although not really legally – so this time they did it officially and had all their paperwork in order. The unofficial wedding took place in Yosemite atop the Lost Arrow Spire, which is a full on rock climb with ropes, harnesses, rock protection, etc.. They made it to the top, but unfortunately, the guy who was going to marry them bailed on the way up, leaving them with no one but themselves to marry them! Their 3 kids were super cute and we couldn’t help but take lots of photos of them. There were also a lot of other kids in attendance, so they rented out one of those giant inflatable play houses and all the kids had a ball. The adults had a ball too, with dancing and a really good meal catered by Anchorage’s famous Yak & Yeti restaurant. What a good group of people it was! On to the photos..

One Response to Houston Wedding: Marilyn & David at Creekside Lodge
Joe and Ralph, these are the best set of pictures ever taken of me or my family. Where were you when I graduated from high school? The photos will be treasured. They exceded my expectations. I’m so glad we used you to capture our wedding. Great work.
