On Friday Heather and I were in Girdwood at Alyeska Resort to photograph Kelly and Brody’s wedding. They were married at the top of the mountain and although it looked like it might rain – it never happened and the backup tent was not needed. Beforehand, we spent a ton of time going to as many spots as time would allow showing of the Girdwood-area charm. Two spots were perfect for Kelly and Brody – the Girdwood Health Clinic, and the Girdwood airport. Kelly is working on becoming a nurse practitioner and Brody is a commercial pilot. If you know me, or have followed on this blog for any length of time, you better believe him and I spent some time talking about airplanes and flying! The wedding and reception were small and intimate, with only 30 people attending, most of which were from out of town. We loved seeing your pre-wedding photos. I can’t
figure out how that bicyclist continued to look straight
ahead when there was such beauty to his left. Does a
couple walking down the middle of the street in their wedding
finery happen a lot up there in Alaska?
