This was totally cool! Stephanie & Terry wanted to do something different for their engagement photos and decided that a “date” to the Anchorage landmark “Chilkoot Charlies” would be a unique alternative to the typical engagement shoot (which they did at Kincaid in the summer too..) Which I should mention to any of our interested brides – anyone out there who presents a unique idea like this or wants to fly out in an airplane, ride out on a snowmachine, has access to some unique location.. etc, just let me know and you’ll get way more time than if we do a standard 1-2 hour shoot in the park.. We love new, cool ideas! So back to Stephanie and Terry – it was 10:30 in the morning when we busted out the cocktails, but they were more props than anything else.. I was really happy to do something different than the classic Alaska Beauty shots.. but those are definitely nice to have. These guys got the two engagement sessions so they could have the Alaska stuff and the nightclub look. Good choice!
