On Friday I was at the Kincaid Park Chalet for Renee & Kipp’s wedding. They had a bunch of cool vintage stuff as props and decorations like old luggage and books. One piece of baggage actually had a real sticker that said “Northwest Orient Airlines” which would have placed it as a piece of 1960’s or 1970’s luggage.. ancient to us younger folk! The guy’s session was one of my favorites as I asked them all to just find an interesting prop laying around this WWII era bunker we were working.. one guy had a wooden dagger, another had a fistful of daisy’s, the groom and another guy had a piece of baggage each, and my favorite – a garden hose! Renee and Kipp gave us lots of time and it just goes to show that cool things happen when you give us time to shoot! 10-20 minutes is not enough time to get the goods.
